When elected following a City banking career, Vivienne was known locally for fundraising for the Riverside Arts Centre Sunbury to buy the adjacent building and as an activist after the 2003 flood event.
He was originally elected as Member of Parliament for Spelthorne in 2010 and was re-elected in May 2015, June 2017 and December 2019.
