Our MP is Kwasi Kwarteng. He has worked hard behalf of Spelthorne to ensure our economic prosperity, health, safety from external and internal threats and to help and support vulnerable people within the United Kingdom.

Cllr Jean Pinkerton OBE was appointed as the Mayor for Spelthorne on 17 May.

Cllr Mary Madams was elected as Deputy Mayor.

Cllr Pinkerton was first elected to the Council to represent Staines South in 2003. Over the last 15 years she has been a member of, and chaired, various committees and held Cabinet positions with responsibility for Communications, Housing, Health and Wellbeing and Independent Living. She was also elected as Deputy Leader in 2012 and 2013.
