Aleksejus (Alex) Sapunovas

Alex is a proud local resident, having lived in a borough of Spelthorne since 2001.

Alex is a family man with two daughters. His younger daughter attends school in Ashford.

Joanne Sexton

Joanne Sexton: I have lived in Spelthorne since 1968 and I have seen this borough transform, I attended The Laurels School in Clarendon Road Ashford where my children also attended, they then moved to Senior School in the borough and still reside here.

Robin Sider

Robin Sider is a former Regular Army Officer with worldwide service. He has represented Shepperton Town since being elected in 1999 and has served on the planning, code of conduct and members development committees, and is the current chairman of the borough licensing committee.

Richard Smith-Ainsley

Richard Smith-Ainsley has lived in Charlton Village for nearly thirty years with his wife and son.  He has been involved in community activities for most of this time, and is a long serving governor of Manor Mead School.

Howard Thomson

Howard moved to Spelthorne in 1995 on marrying his wife Janice. He is a small businessman who understands the need for the stability and opportunities a strong local and national economy brings. 

Denise Turner-Stewart

Denise is the Surrey County Councillor for the Staines South and Ashford West Division

Denise was re-elected to represent Staines South and Ashford West Division in the 4th May 2017 election to Surrey County Council with a majority of 1325.

Richard Walsh

Richard Walsh is the Surrey County Councillor for Laleham and Shepperton

Cabinet Member for Localities and Community Wellbeing on Surrey County Council

Richard was re-elected to Surrey County Council on 4th May 2017 with a 1506 majority 

Buddhi Weerasinghe

Before moving to Halliford last year, Buddhi was a hardworking community activist and a prominent local campaigner in Twickenham. He initiated a project to establish a trade association to help local business community & residents in Heathfield-Twickenham.

Howard Williams

Howard has been Spelthorne’s Cabinet Member for Finance since 2016 and has used his 30+ years of experience in commercial finance to produce significant new income for the borough, so protecting services for residents despite severe cuts in funding from central government.
