Niki Molnar

Niki Molnar has lived in Spelthorne for the best part of 25 years.

By profession, Niki is a web developer/programmer and marketing specialist, running her own consultancy since 2001, which helps start-ups and small and medium-sized businesses.

Niki has been a voluntary member of the Conservative Women’s Organisation (CWO) for 13 years. She was elected National Chairman for 4 years and National President until she stepped down in March 2019 at their centenary conference. Her work with the CWO included helping women take the first steps into public life; and campaigning with major NGOs and charities to lobby the government about issues that affect women, both in the UK and internationally.

Niki continues to promote WaterAid’s outstanding work and has spoken at schools to encourage girls to take STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) - something she is passionate about.

She has been a member of the Shepperton Big Tree Night committee/Shepperton & District Business Community for 5 years and is currently the Treasurer. Run entirely by volunteers, Big Tree Night consistently brings in around 5,000 people to celebrate Christmas every December. It’s aim is to help promote local businesses and is a safe and fun evening for everyone involved.

In 2017, Niki set up the Boat CO Safe campaign to get the law changed to require all boats in UK waterways to be fitted with a Carbon Monoxide alarm.

Niki was awarded an MBE in the New Years’ Honours 2017 for her work with women in politics.
