James McIlroy

Spelthorne Borough Councillor for the Stanwell North ward

Jim has lived in Stanwell and Stanwell Moor for 35-years. He is married with four children and understands local issues in both villages, where he has a strong support. In 2017 Jim launched the United Kingdom’s only Heathrow WPOZ Campaign and he is currently challenging Heathrow Airport to expand their Wider Property Offer Zone to include and compensate the residents of Stanwell Moor and Stanwell.

Jim is a well-known community activist who is committed to improving both villages, our schools, local jobs, reducing airport blight and tackling anti-social behaviour. As a long term resident he is very much aware of all the issues affecting us, and knows how to prioritise them, to deliver real change.

Should he be elected he’ll continue to campaign for all of the above, while continuing the fight to get a better deal and compensation from Heathrow for Stanwell and Stanwell Moor.

Jim was elected as a Conservative Councillor for the Stanwell North ward in the 2 May 2019 local election
